Outcomes Automation

Outcomes Automation / About me

I'm the writer. I also built the instruments.

Twenty years winning work as a proposal and grant writer. Certified in the same bid-development discipline the largest government contractors run, and a computer engineer by background. Six years ago I started engineering my own practice into something faster and more accurate than I could ever be alone.

For over twenty years I've won work for clients as a proposal and grant writer: energy-sector bids, government RFPs, right-of-way documents, the pages where a wrong rate or a missing section costs the contract.

I'm formally certified in Shipley and Lohfeld, the industry's leading proposal methods, trained under national proposal consultant Lisa Rehurek. The biggest federal contractors run the same discipline to win billion-dollar work. I'm also a computer engineer by background, which turned out to be the combination this practice required.

Six years ago, before the current AI wave, I started building conventional automation around my own document work: extraction, checking, formatting, the parts of the craft a machine does without fatigue. Two years ago, the ability to train sandboxed, privately hosted LLMs changed what was possible. Since then I've been engineering true end-to-end systems, trained on my clients' own document history and hosted on servers I control.

One of them has now run in weekly production for over a year for a land-services firm under contract with a major electric utility.

The point was never to remove the writer. I still write, and every document that ships passes through my hands and carries my sign-off. The systems make my best work the floor instead of the ceiling, at a cost no conventional writing practice can match. That holds as the client list grows.

My agreements keep client names off the page. Yours would too.

Every document I produce is confidential work product for a firm under its own MSA. That's why the case study on this site is anonymized, and it's the same protection your documents would get. On a call, with references on the line, I can be specific.

I also own and operate contracting companies.

The document systems aren't the only thing I run in production. My family owns a licensed Washington general contractor and operates painting and flooring companies under it. The lead, estimating, proposal, and follow-up systems those companies run on were built the same way, proven on my own work before any client sees them. That practice has its own site.

Judge the work, not the résumé.

Send one live project and the first document comes back free, on your client's template, against your own standard. The call is with me, not a sales layer.
